The Carolina and McNair Scholar Associations are the student organizations representative of these two scholarships. The organizations are considered honor societies, and therefore, students may wear an honor stole at graduation – noting the achievement of holding such a prestigious scholarship.
While the organizations are both fairly new to the Carolina community, activities of these organizations include social and service opportunities, and the Carolina Scholar Association hosts the annual Last Lecture Series.
