Need help in a particular area of graduate life or want to get involved? Graduate students have resources available to them across campus. 

The University of South Carolina offers a variety of academic and personal resources and services to Carolina students.  Below is a list of invaluable resources available across the Columbia campus.

The Alumni Association connects students and alumni to advance their careers, their passions, and their University of South Carolina.

Graduate students taking at least 1 credit hour are eligible to pay the Athletics Event Fee. While paying this fee does not guarantee tickets, it does make students eligible to participate in the student ticketing process. For information on student tickets, visit the Gamecocks Athletics website.

Campus Recreation has two main facilities and offers a variety of programs and services such as a intramural sports, personal training, adventure trips, Group X classes,  and sport clubs. These opportunities are available to all currently enrolled USC students.

Your Carolina Card is your permanent USC ID card and will allow you access to buildings and parking on campus. Your card can also be used as a flexible-spending declining balance card to be used at merchants on and off campus.

The Center for Teaching Excellence offers programming, resources and opportunities that foster innovative and effective pedagogical practices among all who teach at USC.

Student Health and Well-Being provides essential therapy and emotional wellness services for students at the University of South Carolina. Services include counseling, psychiatry, emotional and mental wellness, and online support. Consultations, walk-in sessions, and emergency & after-hours crisis services are available.

The office of multicultural student services seeks to support students of marginalized communities with advocacy services, awareness and comprehension of diversity issues through programs, events and trainings; and assist the campus community and student organizations to expand their efforts to cultivate an inclusive community at the university.

Students, faculty and staff can access professional design, printing and finishing without leaving campus. Trust your projects to either of two, fully equipped print shops or find easy-to-use, self-serve kiosks around campus.

The SHARPGrads free workshop series provides free training in digital scholarship, computing, and library research concepts for students enrolled in graduate-level courses at the Columbia campus. Students completing the program receive a certificate of completion and digital badge.

Students can also create a new student organization through the Leadership and Service Center.  Visit the website for information on how to start a new student organization.

Each year, up to twenty sustainability fellows are selected to participate in Sustainable Carolina's annual "Sustainability Across the Curriculum" workshop. All faculty, staff, and graduate students are eligible to apply for the May workshop.
