Georgia Petritsis, raised in both New York and New Jersey, attended Manhattanville College where she earned a B.A. in political science, and minored in history and sociology. Georgia worked in New York City for 10 years at the New York Philharmonic and The New York Botanical Garden where she was a fundraiser and event planner, organizing a range of functions from family picnics to opening night galas.
Georgia brought her organizational expertise to the University's School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management in 2012, where she helps administer the academic and financial operations of the Hospitality and Tourism programs. In 2016, she was honored to be a recipient of the inaugural Staff Member of the Year award. Georgia continues to assist students, faculty and staff achieve their objectives, however big or small.
