Scheduling

Once you decide to offer a hybrid course, you'll work closely with the Registrar's office to list your course appropriately and to find the right time and place to meet with your class during your face-to-face hours.

When scheduling your hybrid course, be sure to include enough details in the notes of your course so that students are well aware of all face-to-face and online obligations.  See example below.  Any course that is more than 50% web delivery or two-way AV must be approved for distributed learning delivery (approved by INDEV and Faculty Senate for undergraduate courses and Graduate Council for graduate courses).

This is an online course. You will need access to a computer with Internet access. Class is delivered via Blackboard.  To access your course, logon at: https://blackboard.sc.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp This class will meet weekly in the evening for 75 minutes. Two weeks prior to the start of the course, the instructor will determine the meeting schedule based on student responses to a Doodle Pool survey.
