NSF: Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Pathways into Geoscience (IUSE: GEOPATHS)NSF 17-574

NSF's Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) initiative supports a coherent set of investments to address immediate challenges and opportunities that are facing undergraduate STEM education, as well as those that anticipate new structures (e.g. organizational changes, new methods for certification or credentialing, course re-conception, cyberlearning, etc.).

USC may submit one proposal. Your submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White (whitejrw@mailbox.sc.edu) by July 20, 2017. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NSF indicates that a Letter of Intent IS DUE by August 18, 2017, and full proposal by October 10, 2017. For more information: https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2017/nsf17574/nsf17574.htm
