Beginning Friday, March 20 at 5:30 PM UofSC will provide 24/7 support for Blackboard users across the university system. Technicians will be able to assist with a wide range of Blackboard-related issues, including basic use, how to post and complete assignments, how to improve content accessibility through Ally, how to create quizzes/tests/exams, and how to use academic integrity tools such as Safe Assign.

Anyone in need of Blackboard support should call the Division of Information Technology Service Desk at 803-777-1800 and follow the prompts. Assistance with Blackboard is available anytime throughout the day, night, or weekend. The Service Desk can assist with other support issues Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Virtual drop-in sessions are offered by Blackboard and Respondus. Please see the bottom of this module for registration info.
• UofSC online sessions are being scheduled throughout the month. Please see registration links by each session.

Blackboard is providing temporary free access to their File Transformer site. The file transformer will allow you to convert documents to alternative formats such as audio, html or BeeLine reader. Click here for more information on alternative formats.

The University provides Microsoft Office 365 for students and faculty at no cost.  Other software may be available for a fee.  Visit the DoIT Software page for more information.
