PhD Student Named Eudora Welty Fellow

For Research on Literature, Technology, and the South

Kaitlyn Smith, a doctoral student in UofSC’s English Department, has been named the 2019 Eudora Welty Fellow by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. The fellowship will support archival research in the Eudora Welty Collection for a dissertation on technology in Southern literature. Congratulations, Kaitlyn!!
