Time to apply for TRIO research internship
The TRIO Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program, a graduate school preparation program, is accepting applications for a summer research internship.
The internship is a paid, six-week residential program where students work closely with faculty mentors to develop a research project proposal. Students gain experience presenting their work at an undergraduate research conference, and will receive GRE preparation materials and class instruction.
The program is federally funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and is designed to increase diversity among college faculty. Program specifics, including eligibility criteria and the application can be located on the TRIO department website.
The deadline for applying to the program is Wednesday, Nov. 28.
