Richard L. Walker, distinguished professor emeritus of government and international studies at USC and former U.S. ambassador to South Korea from 1981 to 1986, will speak on "North Korea at the Other End of the Axis of Evil," at the May 7 meeting of the Palmetto Forum, the forum's last meeting of the school year.
The monthly luncheon featuring USC faculty commentary on contemporary issues and events for the public is also open to USC faculty and staff. Meetings are held at the Palmetto Club, 1231 Sumter St., with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the three-course meal is $12. Spouses and guests also are welcome.
