Ingrid Reneau, a professor of English and women's studies at the University of South Carolina, has received a 2003 Career Enhancement Fellowship for Junior Faculty and Underrepresented Groups. The award, presented by the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, is worth up to $30,000.
The fellowship program assists junior faculty pursue scholarly research and writing over a year's time so they can be in better position to attain tenure. Reneau's award will run from June 2003 to June 2004.
