State representatives Rick Quinn and Vincent Sheheen will participate in a panel discussion on South Carolina's new school funding plan at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the University of South Carolina.
The discussion, which will be held in Gambrell Hall auditorium, is free and open to the public and is part of USC's John C. West Forum on Politics and Policy. The discussion will be moderated by West.
A nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, the forum was established in 2002 to enhance the quality of South Carolina's political environment. Sponsored by USC's department of political science in the College of Liberal Arts, the forum is named for West, a former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
