USCs Theatre South Carolina will present Judith Thompson's play Perfect Pie as part of its Showcase season April 2326 in the Blackbox Theater at Booker T. Washington Auditorium.
Tickets are $5 for general admission and are available at the door before the performance.
Set in rural Ontario, Perfect Pie tells the story of Patsy and Marie, two friends who meet after years of separation. In the course of one afternoon, the terrifying secret of their past emerges, as does the story of their friendship, and the women become both salvation and grief for each other. Cruelty, grace, and hope are themes the production will address.
Visiting professor Margo Regan is the director. The cast includes Raia Hirsch of Irmo, Ashley Kolaya of Taylors, and E.G. Heard and Rebecca Williams, both of Columbia.
