| For the fifth year, USC Union has partnered with the Union County Chamber of Commerce to sponsor the Leadership Union Program and the Youth Leadership Union Program.
Jim Edwards, USC Union dean, is chairman of the board for the program; Torance Inman, executive director of the Union County Chamber of Commerce, is program administrator.
The goal of the programs is to identify, cultivate, and educate future community leaders who will help move the county forward. The programs provide potential adult leaders and youth leaders an opportunity to learn about Union County, the history of the area, and how city, county, and state governments work.
Each group meets for an all-day class once a month for eight months beginning in September, and the final class includes a trip to the S.C. State House of Representatives.
For more information, call Inman at 864-427-9039.
