Jamal Rossi, dean of USC’s School of Music, has accepted the position of dean of the academic affairs/deputy dean of the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music effective May 31, 2005.
Rossi graduated from the Eastman School in 1987 with a doctor of musical arts degree in saxophone performance and literature.
