Homecoming Parade set for Oct. 8

USC's annual Homecoming Parade will wind through the streets of downtown Columbia beginning at 4 p.m. Oct. 8.

This year's parade will feature The Mighty Sound of the Southeast, floats, Homecoming King and Queen, the USC Cheerleaders, and Cocky. Grand Marshals for the parade will be USC’s Olympic Athletes.

The parade will begin in front of the Colonial Centerat 4 p.m. and will continue up Greene St.. The parade then will turn left on Assembly St., right on Gervais St. (in front of the Statehouse), then right onto Sumter St., and right on Greene St. The procession will end in front of the Colonial Center.
