The search for a dean of the USCs College of Social Work has been narrowed to two finalists.
They are Ray J. Thomlinson, dean of the School of Social Work and dean of the School of Policy and Management at Florida International University, and Dennis L. Poole, a professor of nonprofit management and community building in the School of Social Work at the University of Texas-Austin.
Harris Pastides, USC vice president for research and health sciences, said he expects the search committee to make a decision by the end of April.
A national search has been under way this year to select a successor to Leon Ginsberg, who will retire as dean of the College of Social Work in December.
