| The Office of Fellowships and Scholar Programs will sponsor a series of scholarship workshops detailing the major competitions such as Fulbright, Goldwater, Rhodes, and NSF.
The workshops will expose undergraduate and graduate students to opportunities for grants and fellowships in every field of study, many of them for study abroad.
The office was established in 1994 to assist academically talented students in their pursuit of nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships. Since 1994, University students have won 275 national awards and more than $7.5 million for advanced academic study. Just last year, USC students, earning more than $1.1, won 28 national awards. Visit our website at www.sc.edu/ofsp for a complete list of winners. Approximately sixty faculty and staff serve on scholarship committees and generally assist students in the application and interview process. The office is open to any qualified University student.
Students are encouraged to attend the workshop for the scholarship or scholarships that interest them most. Attending a scholarship workshop is the first step in applying for a national award.
All workshops are free and are held at 4 p.m. in the Gressette Room, Harper College, USC Horseshoe.
