A Millennial Sampler features poetry by USC faculty, staff

Poems written by a number of USC professors and staff members are featured in A Millennial Sampler of South Carolina Poetry, a volume published in May by Ninety-Six Press at Furman University.

A Millennial Sampler includes 145 poems by 46 South Carolina poets. To be eligible for inclusion in the book, poets must have lived and/or worked in the state since January 1, 2000.

The work of English faculty members Kwame Dawes and Ed Madden, and Department of English staff member Ray McManus, is featured. The poems of USC Beaufort’s Sheila Tombe, an associate professor of English, and adjunct instructor Warren Slesinger also appear in the volume.

For more information, including how to buy the book, call 864-294-3152 or go to alpha.furman.edu/~wrogers/96Press/home.htm.
