Passport Fair to be held in Russell House Oct. 5

In partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, USC's Post Office will host a passport fair in the Russell House Oct. 5.

Faculty, staff, and students who need to apply for or renew passports can attend the passport fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the basement level of Russell House in front of the Carolina Card office and the student mail center.

Applicants must bring a completed passport application (unsigned), birth certificate or naturalization papers, and driver's license or state ID.

The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 mandates that U.S. citizens and foreign nationals present a passport or other appropriate secure identity and citizenship documentation when entering the United States. Starting Dec. 31, this requirement will apply to all air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda.

For more information on passport fees or to print a passport application form, go to www.usps.com/passport or call 7-4187 or 7-3168.
