USC has been selected as the only South Carolina school to host a Duke University TIP Scholar Weekend in 2007. The inaugural Scholar Weekend will be March 3-4 on the Columbia campus.

The Honors College and the Department of Academic Enrichment and Conferences have teamed up to give academically talented students in grades 8-11, who have been identified as Duke TIP scholars, to get a glimpse into the collegiate experience.

Fifty-one S.C. students will be chosen to participate in the event and to take classes taught by USC faculty.
