USC students are invited to submit entries for the Student Book Collecting Award, which carries a first-place prize of $250.

Entries must be submitted by March 30.

The award was initiated by the Thomas Cooper Society with sponsorship from Columbia publisher Bruccoli Clark Layman to encourage beginning book collectors.

The collection may be in any field or may emphasize some particular area of interest within a subject. Collections may illustrate a certain bibliographical feature such as edition, illustrations, typography, binding, and so on. Books and printed documents in all formats are acceptable for submission.
