McKissick Museum will host its 13th-annual fundraiser and gala, "A Fool For Art," from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. March 30. The closing reception will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 3.

A select group of local, regional, and national artists are sharing their artwork for an exhibition and sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the McKissick Endowment.
In past years the Museum was able to publish its first collections catalog with proceeds raised by past fundraisers undertaken by McKissick and the Museum's Advisory Council, as well as support the acquisition of a number of objects for the permanent collection.
The artworks offered for sale will be on display for the five weeks following the gala: March 31 to May 5.
Any artworks purchased the evening of the gala or in the weeks following may be picked up at the Museum on May 7 and 8.
The March 30 evening of "foolish festivities" features entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres, specialty libations, and the opportunity to purchase artworks from some of the area's notable talents.
Tickets are $45 individual or $40 each for two or more individuals.
