Undergraduates taking a University of South Carolina history course on the modern women's movement in South Carolina have organized a public symposium and celebration Sunday, Nov. 18, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the National Women's Conference and the South Carolina International Women's Year Conference.
The event, "To Form a More Perfect Union: 30th Anniversary Celebration of the National Women's Conference and South Carolina IWY Conference," will be held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in Gambrell Hall auditorium with a reception afterward in the building's atrium and roof garden. It is free and open to the public.
