The Outstanding Freshman Advocate Award selection committee is currently soliciting nominations for the 2008 award. The Outstanding Freshman Advocate Award recognizes individuals who have made significant and extraordinary contributions to the academic or professional development and/or personal lives of first-year students.
USC faculty, staff, and students may be nominated for the award.
Nominations must be submitted no later than Feb. 11.
Any member of the USC community can nominate a faculty member, administrator, staff member, or student who greatly contributes to and positively impacts the first-year experience at USC.
To submit a nomination online, go to sc.edu/univ101/award.
The nomination form requests a detailed statement about the person being nominated. The statement should be descriptive and thorough to ensure that the nominee gets the fullest and highest possible consideration for the award.
For more information about the award or the nomination process, contact Jennifer Latino at latino@gwm.sc.edu or Michelle Ashcraft at ashcrafm@gwm.sc.edu in the University 101 office.
