Program Structure
We have identified three tiers of support that we aim to implement as part of ASCEND@Carolina, including:
- Tier 1: Universal Design - Improving spaces and experiences on campus to be accessible to and inclusive for all neurotypes.
- Tier 2: Community Building - Creating spaces on campus for neurodivergent students to seek out a community with other neurodivergent and allied peers.
- Tier 3: Individualized Support* - Building student-facing programs that are suited to support the success and well-being of neurodivergent students.
*This tier does not currently have active services

We currently we offer the following services:
- Tailored trainings for faculty, staff, and student leaders to utilize and apply inclusive practices within their roles, departments, and organizations to support neurodivergent students.
