Black Male Initiatives

We want our students to achieve success in all aspects of life and create meaningful relationships with others. This program exclusively serves the needs of black men.

Brother to Brother (B2B)

The Brother 2 Brother Black Male Initiative (B2B) is designed to increase the value of community and foster brotherhood for Black men at the University of South Carolina. B2B aims to improve active participation, provide educationally enriched experience and increase retention of Black men.

Cuts and Conversations

Cuts and Conversations is a component of B2B is an opportunity for Black men to communicate freely about topics that are relevant to them. Come discuss topics with likeminded individuals where your thoughts matter. Moderators will provide wellness solutions and campus resource information. Haircuts will be provided by local barbers; you do not need to get a haircut to participate.

Following safety guidelines, students MUST RSVP to attend Cuts and Conversations. All will be held in the Multicultural Intersection Lounge at 6 p.m.
