As of January 1, 2018, Grants.gov Adobe forms application packages will be replaced with Grants.gov Workspace. Federal agencies that do not have their own proposal submission systems and that currently use the Adobe forms package will be using Workspace. The Office of Sponsored Awards Management has assembled information and tools on using Grants.gov Workspace in our External Proposal Preparation section.

 

What about NIH and NSF submissions?

At present SAM strongly recommends that NIH proposals be prepared and submitted using ASSIST, since it has additional functionality that Workspace does not have. 

NSF proposals should continue to utilize FASTLANE as their primary submission portal.
