Open Education Week 2019

Striving to give everyone access to high-quality educational experiences and resources

Celebrate Open Education Week 2019 with University Libraries! We’re sponsoring three activities during the week of March 4 – 8.

“We’ve planned activities to showcase the impact of free and open education on teaching and learning on our campus,” said Amie Freeman, Digital Research Services. “Drop-in Open Education Consultations with teaching faculty, a group webinar screening and discussion, and Open Education Bingo will be informative and fun. We want to raise awareness of the global Open Education Movement, and Open Education Week gives us the opportunity to do that.”

Join us for this year’s free activities:

  • Open Education Consultations, Tuesday, March 5, all day. For faculty and other instructors who want to incorporate elements of Open Education into their teaching, or who want to create or modify shareable teaching resources.
