Post-Doctoral AFAM Teaching Fellowship
The African American Studies program at the University of South Carolina is hiring
two 12-month teaching postdoctoral fellows to help meet the state’s new founding documents
requirement through a course called “Freedom Papers: Narratives of Race & Nation.”
We envision this course as an interdisciplinary seminar that incorporates the U.S.
founding documents into larger discussions about Black freedom struggles and various
modes of expression, resistance, and remembrance. The fellowship is for a two-year
term with an option to renew for a third year. The search committee will begin reviewing
applications on April 30, 2021.For more information and to apply, please visit: https://uscjobs.sc.edu/postings/95534.
