Degree Programs
The Baruch Institute does not have a formal degree program, but many degree programs (majors and minors) at USC-Columbia partner with Baruch for part of their educational programming, including those offered by:
- School of the Earth, Ocean, and Environment
- Arnold School of Public Health
- Department of Biological Sciences
- Department of Geography
- Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry
Courses at the Baruch Institute
Marine Science 460 - Field & Lab Investigations in Marine Science
Offered in both spring and fall semester, the goal of this course is to provide immersive, hands-on exposure to methods and techniques essential to marine and coastal research. The course is conducted in residence at the Baruch Marine Field Lab over a series of two weekend trips (Friday - Sunday).

The Baruch Institute is a destination for many USC-Columbia courses, as well as other academic institutions and beyond.
