Every year, hundreds of university students participate in academic opportunities at the Baruch Institute through courses, field trips, research projects, and internships.

Courses at the Baruch Institute

Marine Science 460  - Field & Lab Investigations in Marine Science

Offered in both spring and fall semester, the goal of this course is to provide immersive, hands-on exposure to methods and techniques essential to marine and coastal research. The course is conducted in residence at the Baruch Marine Field Lab over a series of two weekend trips (Friday - Sunday).

Field Trips

The Baruch Institute is a destination for many USC-Columbia courses, as well as other academic institutions and beyond.
