Research
Tannaz's research focuses on characterizing bacteriophages from different environments. She is notably isolating bacteriophages from soil samples and compares them with bacteriophages that the Ely lab has isolated from aquatic samples. Tannaz also studies how different strains of Caulobacter crescentus enhance the growth of plants such as Arabidopsis.
