LARB talks with Brian Glavey

Check out this extended conversation between the Los Angeles Review of Books and UofSC English professor Brian Glavey, “Both Attaching to Texts and Inventing Them,” in which Glavey discusses art and literature as “inherently relational.” “One way or another, studying texts establishes not only a relationship between reader and poem, or reader and author, but crucially between a reader and a class full of students, a bar full of friends, all the people with whom you figure out what you really think about things.”

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
