Wolfgang Dahmen gave a plenary talk at 9th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM 2019), which was held in Valencia, Spain, July 15 - 19, 2019.

This congress takes place every 4 years at a different location. With about 4000 participants, it is considered to be the most important event in applied and computational mathematics. It was therefore an excellent opportunity to bring the interdisciplinary mathematical research conducted at UofSC to the attention of large parts of the scientific community.
