Rome Visiting Professorship

Racial Health Equity in South Carolina: Catalyzing Change Join us virtually May 26-28, 2021 with featured speaker Rhea Boyd, MD, MPH, FAAP to advance efforts across Prisma Health and UofSC SOMG to promote racial equity through enhanced community partnerships, strengthened advocacy training and focused faculty development.

Clemson University Research Symposium

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts for the Clemson University Research Symposium in order to share work with colleagues and learn about each others research interest.

Staff Senate formation

On March 22 staff members can nominate themselves or a colleague to become a staff senator for the 2021-22 year. Check out the Staff Senate website for information about the senate election timeline, how many senators will represent your unit, bylaws, the role of a senator and more.

Return to the workplace campus resources

On March 5, Governor Henry McMaster issued Executive Order 2021-12 directing all state agencies, including UofSC, to "immediately expedite the transition back to normal operations." Access these campus resources to help you settle back in.

Class of 2020 Residency Matches

UofSC School of Medicine Greenville's fourth-year medical class celebrated the school's annual Match Day virtually for the first time in the school's history. The Class of 2020's residency placements included an array of specialty programs, such as, genetics, psychiatry, orthopaedic, ophthalmology, surgery and urology.

PeopleSoft Rollout

The PeopleSoft Human Resources/ Payroll project is a new system that will replace the outdated administrative tool currently in use, giving functionality that better meets our business needs. It will improve processes in HR, payroll, benefits, time and labor, absence management, and self service for employees and managers.
