Office of Research
The Arnold School of Public Health promotes active faculty, research staff, and student
engagement in scholarly activities and identifies and facilitates collaborative research
opportunities in areas that are integral to the science and practice of public health.
In fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018), the Arnold School received nearly $31
million in total awards, including $23 million in research funding, $12 million of
which is from the National Institutes of Health.
The Arnold School also receives funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
the National Science Foundation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National
Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as well
as from a variety of other federal, state, corporate, and private sources.
