Submit a story idea or announcement
The University of South Carolina's Marketing & Communications team welcomes good story ideas about our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends; programs and intiatives; honors and awards; and events and activities.
Announcements and other ideas may be submitted for consideration using the form below or by e-mailing email@example.com. Submission does not guarantee they will be used.
The University Home page is generally reserved for news and information that appeal to a broad audience, including the public. Only signature campus events, for example, will be featured on the Home page. Smaller events, announcements, and other internal communications to the University community are better suited for our new News page.
The News page is an aggregation of University stories, announcements, and events. A central News Index/Archive is a repository of older stories from Media Relations, University Publications (Times), and University Web Communications. The Times Web site is still available for archived PDFs of print editions dating to 2000.
Campus announcements should continue to be submitted to the University's Announcements listserv (e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org) and the Calendar of Events (e-mail email@example.com for access to upload to the Calendar).
