After spending over a decade at UofSC, Anna Edwards has been named associate vice president for student life in the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support.

Johnie Hodge is undertaking the challenge of becoming a physician-scientist by earning both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. The number of physician-scientists has steadily declined in recent years, but those who remain are helping translate research discoveries into changes in patient care.

Summer is quickly approaching, meaning that children will soon need activities to enrich their lives and expand their minds. Luckily for parents, Carolina has a variety of summer camp options for every interest from singing to softball to science.
