Benefits Office offers pre-retirement seminars this spring

The University's Benefits Office will offer pre-retirement seminars covering the basics of the South Carolina Retirement Systems, insurance options, financial planning, Social Security and various legal issues that one might face in retirement. Employees with 15 or more years of service should attend either the March 12 or May 15 session where all topics will be covered. Employees with less than 15 years of service should attend either the March 27 or April 21 session where emphasis will be placed on the South Carolina Retirement Systems service and benefits, service purchase, financial planning and SC Deferred Compensation.
