Winners of the Department of Art's 49th-annual Student Art Exhibition have been named. The student show was juried by Todd Herman, curator for the Columbia Museum of Art.
This year's winners include:
• Jim Arendt, "The Deluge," Best Graduate Work
• Denton Smith, "Soldiers Gaze," Merit in Photography
• Julie Jacobsen, "Quilt 1," Merit in Mixed Media
• Ken Baskin, Capasitor Series “Implosion," Merit in 3D
• Lauren Gregory, "Don’t Touch Me," Merit in 2D
• Nikolay Oskolkov, "St. Nicholas," Best in Show"
• MarieTennyson, "In A Process II," Merit in Graphic Media.
