USC Sumter will offer a Baby Signs Parent Workshop at the Child Development and Research Center at USC Columbia from 6 to 8 p.m. March 27.
Cost to attend the workshop is $75.
Registration deadline is March 13.
Baby Signs is a sign language program for babies that its creators describe as "a new way to talk with babies before they can talk." The workshop is designed for parents of children from birth to 24 months, but early childhood educators, parent educators, social workers, and health specialists are also welcome.
The Child Development and Research Center is located on the USC Columbia campus at 1530 Wheat Street.
