A Refreshed Approach
The University of South Carolina is in the midst of an extensive brand refresh. More than simply producing updated logos, the refresh is a detailed, research-based effort that has essentially remastered the university's marketing framework.
The new brand better clarifies the university's unique position as South Carolina's flagship institution — highlighting the university as a place for academic and research excellence, an unsurpassed student experience, and a two-fold role as both economic and social engines for the state.
A Redefined Brand
Beginning in the spring semester of 2019, you'll begin to see an evolution in marketing messaging and elements that's designed to:
- speak to what makes South Carolina so special
- provide university communicators with refreshed strategies, language and tools
- support the university's compelling story in a consistent and modern manner
In coming months, campus communicators will be introduced to the refreshed brand and trained on the new guidelines and assets. Until then, access the university's full set of existing brand tools including design elements, official logos, templates and style guides.
