International Student Achievement Award

The International Student Achievement Award (ISAA) is awarded each semester to one international student at any degree level who has demonstrated excellence in academic achievement and shown a commitment to campus and/or community engagement.

Spring 2020

All nominations are due by Friday, April 24 at 12 noon. (Deadline extended)

Please complete this online form for a student graduating in spring and summer semester.

  • Faculty, staff, and fellow students can nominate an outstanding graduating international student. A member of the community can nominate individuals, as well. Students cannot nominate themselves.
  • The student must be a graduating F-1 or J-1 international student during the semester of nomination.
  • Nominees will be evaluated by a committee of staff and faculty based on excellence in academic achievement and commitment to campus and/or community engagement. Thoroughness on the nomination form is appreciated.

Receiving the Award

This Spring, the recipient will be recognized through email on May 1, 2020. He or she will be awarded a certificate, a small gift from the ISS office, and announced in the international student newsletter. His or her name will also be included on the International Student Achievement Award plaque that is on display in the ISS office.
