Juliana Glynn

I am Juliana L. Glynn, Regional Admissions Representative here at the University of South Carolina Palmetto College and a 2020 graduate of the program. Originally from the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I now call South Carolina my home for the last 14 years. I am a first-generation college graduate and holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2023), a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of South Carolina Palmetto College (2020), an AA degree from Central Carolina Technical College (2015).

I joined the University of South Carolina family in November of 2021. In this capacity with USC Palmetto College Online my focus is on connecting prospective non-traditional transfer students with our online bachelor’s degree completion programs. One of my long-term goals is to assist in increasing student access to higher education by breaking down barriers to create and sustain equitable outcomes. It is an honor to serve as an adjunct instructor of University 101. It is my belief through my experience, that education creates a foundation for a better quality of life for individuals and their respective communities. USC Palmetto College holds a place in my heart, for providing that educational foundation that has transformed my personal and professional life. It brings me great joy to serve others as the representative of this program and help them to navigate the process of completing their undergraduate degree.

Prior to migrating to the United States more than 33 years ago, I was employed as a journalist with the Vincentian Newspaper Organization. I enjoy travelling and visiting different states/countries, sewing, basic car care, and gardening.

Areas Served: Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Hampton, Jasper, and Orangeburg.
