Associate Professor Kathleen Broussard has published new research exploring unrealized fertility among women in the United States. Her article, The Meaning and Measurement of Unrealised Fertility: A Comparison of Measures Among Women Aged 40–49 in the United States, appears in the Vienna Yearbook of Population Research special issue, Delayed Reproduction. The study examines how unrealized fertility is defined and measured, providing new insights into the gap between the number of children women intend to have and the number they ultimately have.
