Established in 1944, the University of South Carolina Press is one of the oldest and most distinguished publishing houses in the South. With more than 1,100 books available in print and digital formats, and publishing approximately 40 new books annually, USC Press serves the state and the University of South Carolina. Our publications educate, inform, entertain, and inspire while advancing knowledge.
