Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, and you couldn’t find that perfect gift. There is still a chance to strike Santa gold -- the annual University of South Carolina holiday art sale, Nov. 29-30, put on by the art department.

The gallery sale is set for 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. both days at McMaster Gallery.

Aspiring student artists with the talents and skills of painter Alan Feltus, potters Michael Kline and Akira Satake and photographer Andy Bloxham will have their one-of-a-kind art on display.

A broad selection of pieces of handmade art, including everything from a turquoise ceramic vase to a wood carved bowl to pieces of handcrafted jewelry will be for sale.

The students have worked on their creations all semester.

All of the proceeds from the sale will go to fund visiting artists and to buy equipment for the art department.
