Workplace Bullying Policy
- Creates a process for reporting, investigating and resolving complaints related to workplace bullyings.
- Seeks to create an environment in which members of the University community are civil and respectful of individuals and individual differences.
Graduate Faculty
- Creation of “associate member” status on the Graduate Faculty for non-tenure-track faculty.
- Elimination of the requirement for meetings of the Graduate Faculty every semester.
- Other minor editorial changes and clarification
Proposed and Approved Revisions
All revisions to the
Faculty Manual must be approved by the president and the Board of Trustees. On the Columbia campus, the Faculty Advisory Committee of the Faculty Senate presents all draft revisions to the
Faculty Manual to the General Faculty for formal discussion and approval.
Once the draft revisions have been approved by the General Faculty, the
Provost Office coordinates the final review process in preparation for
presentation to the Board of Trustees. For more information, see
