Many units have established tenure and promotion criteria that call for USC faculty to connect their professional work and research to bettering our local, state, national, and international communities of which we are a part. Service is an important component of our professional roles, and it can also be a rewarding part of our personal lives.
ECFN encourages new faculty to check out established USC community outreach efforts as well as offer suggestions for ways in which we can connect our professional work in ways that benefit the community. ECFN will collaborate with Community Service Programs to highlight service opportunities in the community.
To suggest programs that the Early Career Board should consider with regard to service or if you have questions, please contact the Early Career Service Initiative Leader by using the ECFN Contact Form
