1. Fulbright Workshop Scheduled for Feb 23
   A Fulbright workshop on international teaching and research opportunities will be offered from 1-3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, in the UTS Auditorium. The workshop will also be webcast live for registrants who request such access during the registration process. Registration deadline: Feb. 16.

   The electronic approval and review process for Carolina Core Course Designation is now live!
3. 2011-2012 Distributed Learning Grant Program Announced
   The Office of the Provost is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 Distributed Learning Course Development Grant Program.
4. 2011-2012 Faculty Replenishment Initiative (FRI)
   The 2011-2012 Faculty Replenishment Hiring Initiative (FRI) will provide funding to hire assistant and associate professors as individual faculty members and as part of inter- or intra-disciplinary clusters of faculty on the USC Columbia campus.
