State Authorization: Texas
The University of South Carolina has received authorization for students to be enrolled in programs with experiential learning components (internships, clinicals, practicums, etc.), located in the state of Texas.
The following statements are included as per Texas Workforce Commission requirements:
- The University of South Carolina Columbia is not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code.
- The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is the body responsible for approving and regulating the University’s programs.
- Specific guidance regarding how to file complaints and/or make contact with regulatory agencies is included on the “Grievance Policy” page.
