State Authorization: Texas
The University of South Carolina has received an exemption from the state of Texas for programs offered via distance delivery. Students may enroll in programs via distance delivery.
Students may enroll in experiential learning coursework (internships, practica, clinicals, and fieldwork) located in the state.
The following statements are included as per Texas Workforce Commission requirements:
- The University of South Carolina Columbia is not regulated in Texas under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code.
- The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is the body responsible for approving and regulating the University’s programs.
